 Because its wavelength is small.

ya!

its wavelength  is small so frequency is high..

If that was the case why not use visible light, UV or Xrays? frequency is much higher. Even IR frequency is higher than microwaves!

microvaves and such waves having high lambda reflect from ionosphere...... (thus used for communication)

(i hve also read some where that some waves are so bulky that they bounce on earth surface!! i cold not understand this!! )

microwavwes wavelength is high so I think that they are not scattered very easily that's why they are used in radar and satelitte commuications.

acctually its wavelenght is low frequency high and they dont need any material medium 2 travel so we use this in other case of UV AND x raythe frequency is very high but wedont use because it can harm us .plz rate 4 this

Yes truly microwaves are named so because their wavelength is of the order of micro metre. for micro wavelenghts frequency is very high, In radar and sattelite communicatoions we use microwave because1. antennas ht is directly proportional to wavelength so we cant put bid anteenas on ships and aircrafts.2. At high frequencies losses are minimized3. Response time at higher frequencies is small

Micr0wave has a larg wavelngth to penetrate easily, radiowave hs largr wavlngth bt it doesnt fulfil frequency need, microwav wit c0mparatively high frqncy is thus used in radar

microwaves are used in radar systems because it has short wavelength and also travel along straight lines without deviation.....
