 In fluorophenol 2p orbital of C  overlaps 2p orbital of F.....bt in chlorophenol  3p of Cl overlaps with 2p of C  . Due to this ,overlapping in case of fluoro will be more intense......  +M (F)>+M(Cl).....thus Fluorine will hinder d entry of lone pair of oxygen.......therefore chlorophenol will be more acidic
