Attention all IIT aspirants!!! From the year 2013, the whole new change will be in IIT JEE exam pattern. There will be an aptitude test consisting of questions based on reasoning and all other subjects that you have studied in your schools like physics, chemistry and maths. So Prepare yourself accordingly if you are preparing for IIT 2013. All the Best!!!

The same type of hype was present in iit-jee 2006 when the subjective paper was scrapped.Focussing on the fundementals,solving conceptual problems( and avoiding irodov like problems),Joining a good test series like BMAT will always help...

hey bt i heard tat aptitude test will contain jst reasoning and nthing related to physics chemistry and maths and the 12th result will matter and a lott and all iit-jee coachings are of no use for iit 2013is that true

it is not sure that the new pattern would be applied from 2013 or from 2015 .it can also be the old pattern.

well iits are going gud way.there is no need to get hyper.its a challange to coching intstitute.and the thought of giving position to 12 marks is fantastic idea.

HOW THE WEIGHTAGE WILL BE GIVEN FOR DIFFERENT BOARDS ACROSS THE COUNTRY. SO MANY STATE BOARDS ARE GIVING CENTUM MARKS IN PHY, CHEM AND MATHS VERY EASILY. IN CBSE, IT IS VERY DIFFICULT TO GET 90% IN THESE SUBJECTS. HOW IT CAN BE EQUALISED? I STRONGLY SUGGEST THE CENTRAL GOVT TO CONTINUE THE SAME PATTERN OF IITJEE EXAM UNTIL UNIFORM PATTERN OF EDUCATION IS IMPLEMENTED THROUGH OUT INDIA UNDER ONE BOARD. THAT IS NCERT. UNTIL THEN PLEASE CONTINUE TO HAVE PRESENT SYSTEM OF IITJEE EXAM.

That is good move to change exam pattern.Weitage of 12th Board marks given to students is very good idea.Apptitude & Reasoning tests is good way to check students IQ.
