why don't we use nitrogen for doping semiconductors??

Because carbon is not a semiconductor and size of nitrogen is very small as compared to size of silicon or germanium (remeber doped impurity must go and sit at a latice point in the crystal structure of semiconductor). Moreover it will be difficult for nitrogen to give its electron due to its high electronegativity.

if we think like this we can use almost every metal that has low en values
