LEVEL WILL FALL IF STONE HAS HIGH MASS AND LOW VOLUME

LEVEL WILL RISE IF IT HAS HIGH VOLUME AND LOW MASS

the level of water will rise if density of stone>density of water(and thats understood that the stone naturally sinks)

the level of water will decrease..when the ice is floating then weight of ice and stone = upthrust...let the mass of stone and ice be m1 and m2..thus (m1+m2)g=v(immersed)(density of water)g hence v(immersed)= (m1+m2)/desity of water.volume of water from mass m1 of ice=m1/desity of water.. volume of stone(volume of water displaced)=m2/density of solid..since density of solid> density of water..hence v1+v2

level will only decrease(considering the stone have greater density than the water)
