In the question that I have marked (Q.2.),answer given is option B, that is  spring 2 has double   energy stored inside it than sprin 1. but according to me both the springs are subected to same force .hence they both should have the same amount of energy stored inside them.

also as work done by non coservative forces is zero so shouldn't the 2 springs gain same amount of elastic potential energy.

the k of spring b is 1/2 times that of spring a, hence the same amount of force is exerted spring b will undergo more extension than spring a, so will have more P.E. stored.
