black hole is something from where even light cannot escape....its where time slows downs...10 seconds appear like a day....if i were to drop a cloac from sky the time in the clock would slow down...black holes are forned due to supernova explosion....and bang they are everywhere

a black hole is a region of space in which the gravitational field is so powerful that nothing, including light, can escape its pull. The black hole has a one-way surface, called an event horizon,.. into which objects can fall... but out of which nothing can come. It is called "black" because it absorbs all the light that hits it... reflecting nothing.. just like a perfect blackbody in thermodynamics

a black hole is a region in space that is formed when a star gets exhausted of its hydrogen core. at this time, the star starts to contract. now, if the mass of the star is greater than a particular value which is called the chandrashekhar limit (its value is around 1.5 times the mass of sun) , then the star contracts to form a black hole.if the mass is less than this limit,it can either form a white dwarf or a neutron star. if a black hole is formed, then the entire matter of the star contracts to infinite density. now,its gravitational field becomes so strong that nothing, not even light can escape its pull.this region of infinite density is also called a singularity.
