hey i scored a 95% in boards this year...though i didnt pay much attention to d entrances,,,,i havnt been alootd any seat in d 1st list of AIEEE...are there any pvt colgs wch take AIEEE score?? or any other gud universities wer i may apply??? plz ans soon!!

AIR is 48000 state rank is 7000(andhra pradesh) so i have no hopes for a good colg thru AIEEE

u myt get chandigarh college of engineering and technology (CCE), uiet etc.

You will not get good seat through AIEEE... Better go for good engineering college thru EAMCET

yea i know i wont get any gud colg thru AIEEE bt d prob is dat i havnt written EAMCET coz i hav been in hyderabad for jus an year and m eligible for jus 1.5% seats

no .........the dates for submission of there forms was 26 june..............actually pec ,uiet ,cce etc had released a joint admission brochure

sumedha, u can still hope till the 4th round of counseling.last year the final rank at NITK open category was some 39000..so u can still expect an NIt i suppose..just wait till july 16th.

u will have to compromise with ur branch in NITs..the problem being ur from AP and ur state rank is not compatible with ur AIR. in KArnataka students getting around 48000 have a state rank of some 900..so they can still expect under HS quota...neways congrats on ur boards achievement.

thnx abhishek...yea actually evry odr prsn u see in AP is in2 corporate colgs preparin 4 IIT!!! so it makes a tough competition here.... i wil b w8n till d 4th list....lets jus hope 4 d best...though m preprd 2 take a drop dis year... i jus hope i get atlast sumthn gud!!! nwz thnx agn

hey sumedha..pls wait a while before u take a drop.the best thing would be that u prepare hard for IIT then only u would do well in aieee...because even i screwed up my aieee..i got 30606 rank and SR of 688 from k'taka..i solved just 6 maths questions in first hour of the aieee! i was almost dejected with the paper but thank god i scored 176.

The truth is that 40,000+ rank will give u nothing in AIEEE .U may try and probably u may get into some poor private college.But it will not be what u deserve.95% in boards means nothing but that u are a sincere student.U want to work hard and u can and believe me there is a way for such good students.Just drop a year and join the best coaching u can Just like u I didn't(couldn't) pay attention to competetion exam.I got 95.4% in board exam on my own(no coaching in my town).In first attempt I got 22,000 AIR in AIEEE and 11,000 in UPTU,not even attended the counselling and went to Bansal classes Kota.This yr result not very impressive but still much better IIT JEE AIR 6645 AIEEE AIR 16146 UPTU 1405 even if i fail to get in IIT and AIEEE but through UPTU I can expect some good gov. college.And ur money for coaching will not be wasted if u don't get IIT/NIT because still u may expect some gov. college(If u study well) and there is a much difference in fees og gov. and private colleges.But u may try for JP Noida .Personally meet them if possible.I heard that they offer managment quota seats on the basis of 12th class %.Hopefully,u will get it.

hey man you can get top colleges in rajasthan under outside state categoty.. as i mentioned earlier the names of top colleges and the form details...
