YA it is very important to learn the basis some very important genetic disease..Many question come in the PMT are from the genetics.. Many fatal disease like Rh incompatibility is the result of the different genotypes of the parents.. to understand them, ur genetics shuld be strong and that"s why they are imp part of medical entrance exam.All the best!!!!
