VIrion are the infectious particle of the virus. Virus is made up of nucleic acid(RNA n DNA) and a capsid. Some virus also contains envelope. The nucleic acid and capsid are the infectious agent of the virus.this is called virion. Thus, virion is the infetious part of the virus.
