Catalogs Discussion Forums -> Organic Chemistry -> number of structural isomers possible in C3H6O? -> Go to message
This Post 0 points    (Olaaa!! Perrrfect answer.   in 0 votes )   [?]
two isomers are possible & these araCH3CH2CHO (Propanal) &CH3COCH3 (Propanone)& these are also known as functional isomers
Catalogs Discussion Forums -> Algebra -> what is the derivative of sin(x)^(1/2) -> Go to message
This Post 0 points    (Olaaa!! Perrrfect answer.   in 0 votes )   [?]
d{sin(x)^1/2} / dx = (x^-1/2)*cos(x)^1/2 = {cos(x)^(1/2)} /x^1/2

This Post 0 points    (Olaaa!! Perrrfect answer.   in 0 votes )   [?]
motion of object about a fixed a axis is called pure rotation .if the axis of rotation is not fixed i.e. it also moving then the motion is not pure rotation and is a combination of translational and rotational motion

apply rydberg formula1/wavelength = R[1/(n1)^2 -1/(n2)^2] where R = 109677cm^-1 = 1096.77m^-1 ; n1=1 ; n2=6
Catalogs Discussion Forums -> General Physics -> If you're traveling at the speed of light and you turn your headlights on, what happens? -> Go to message
This Post 0 points    (Olaaa!! Perrrfect answer.   in 0 votes )   [?]
nothing will happen as light of headlight will be ineffective and your visbility will not improve as things become visible only when light falls on it.since car is also travelling with speed of light thus light will not get a chance to travel ahead and fall on objects ahead

a quantity with fixed magnitude but no fixed direction

Catalogs Discussion Forums -> General Physics -> what changes should be affected in the velocity of the body to maintain same kinetic energy of its m -> Go to message
This Post 0 points    (Olaaa!! Perrrfect answer.   in 0 votes )   [?]

let initial velocity be u

let final velocity be v

because K.E.remains same

mu2/2  =  4mv2/2

u  =  2v

v  =  u/2

so the velocity should be halved

Catalogs Discussion Forums -> Algebra -> If [1+i/1-i]^m= 1 then what is least postive integral value of m? -> Go to message
This Post 0 points    (Olaaa!! Perrrfect answer.   in 0 votes )   [?]

(1+i)/(1-i) = (1+i)/(1-i)  *   (1+i)/(1+i)  =   (1+2i+i2)/(1-i2)   =  2i/2  =  i

[(1+i)/(1-i)]^m  =  1

im  =  1

least value of m = 4 because i4 = 1

Catalogs Discussion Forums -> Algebra -> PLZ ANSWER ITS UREGENTTTTTTTT A point P is given on the circumference of a circle of radius "r" . A -> Go to message
This Post 0 points    (Olaaa!! Perrrfect answer.   in 0 votes )   [?]

the equilateral triangle inscribed in circle will have max. area

QR = r* sqrt(3)

area = sqrt(3) * r * sqrt(3)/4 = 3r/4

Catalogs Discussion Forums -> Algebra -> A work can be done by 4 men and 6 women in 8 days and the same work can be done by 3 men and 7 women -> Go to message
This Post 0 points    (Olaaa!! Perrrfect answer.   in 0 votes )   [?]

in the sol. given by Chandrashekher just put W=1 as work done is 1

so the eq would be

1/8 = 4x + 6y                  -(1)

1/10 = 3x + 7y            -(2)

solving the two u will get y =1/100

so work done by 10 women in 1 day = 10y = 1/10

no. of days required to 1 work = 10

Catalogs Discussion Forums -> Mechanics -> A smooth wedge A is fitted in a chamber hanging from a fixed celling near the earth's surface. A blo -> Go to message
This Post 0 points    (Olaaa!! Perrrfect answer.   in 0 votes )   [?]

it will remain at the top because as the string breaks both the block & the wedge begins to fall with acceleration g & since both were initialy at rest & their relative acceleration is 0 therefore they will remain in same position with respect to each other & because the block was initially at the top of the wedge hence it will remain their in complete fall

Catalogs Discussion Forums -> Analytical Geometry -> if an angle is equal to 1/3 of its supplement, then the angle. give me the solution steps for this -> Go to message
This Post 0 points    (Olaaa!! Perrrfect answer.   in 0 votes )   [?]

supplement angles are those whose sum is 180

let angle be x

so its supplement = x/3

x + x/3 = 180

4x/3=180

x = 135

supplement of x = 45

Catalogs Discussion Forums -> Inorganic Chemistry -> can orbital of an electron predicted correctly? -> Go to message
This Post 0 points    (Olaaa!! Perrrfect answer.   in 0 votes )   [?]

no because electron can be anywhere around the nucleus.Even at infinite distance from nucleus the probability of finding electron is not zero

Catalogs Discussion Forums -> Inorganic Chemistry -> hi...dout from NCERT... i was not able to understand the diff. btw the below 2 satement.....pl -> Go to message
This Post 0 points    (Olaaa!! Perrrfect answer.   in 0 votes )   [?]

since s & p elctrons are tightly held by nucleus lie before f-electron so, they effectively shield 5f electrons

since 5f electrons are not tightly held by nucleus therefore they have wide empty spaces between them so they are unable to shield electrons behind it effectively & hence have poor shielding effect

Catalogs Discussion Forums -> Inorganic Chemistry -> what is hybridisation of B in B2H6 -> Go to message
This Post 2 points    (Olaaa!! Perrrfect answer.   in 1 votes )   [?]

sp3hybridisation as it forms 3centre-2electron bond or banana bond ie 2 electron are shared between 3 atoms

as u can see B forms 4bonds so it is sp3hybridised

Catalogs Discussion Forums -> Mechanics -> A car of mass M=20kg having m=5kg grain is moving with an initial velocity v=20m/s.At t=0 grain star -> Go to message
This Post 0 points    (Olaaa!! Perrrfect answer.   in 0 votes )   [?]

initial total mass of car = 20+5=25kg

massof grain leaked after 10 sec =10*0.2=2kg

final mass of car = 25-2=23kg

let final velocity be v

apply conservation of momentum

25*20 = 23*v

v =21.7m/sec

Catalogs Discussion Forums -> Algebra -> No factorial can end with 5 zeros. What is the next smallest of zeros in which a factorial cannot en -> Go to message
This Post 0 points    (Olaaa!! Perrrfect answer.   in 0 votes )   [?]

next smallest of zeros in which a factorial can not end is 11

because 5! ends in one 0

10! ends in two 0

15! endsin three 0

20!ends in four 0

but 25! ends in six 0 because 25 multiplied by a mutiple of 4 gives no. ending in two 0

similarly 30! ends in seven 0

35! ends in eight 0

40!ends in nine 0

45! ends in ten 0

but 50! will end with twelve 0 as 50 multiplied by any even no. will give a no. ending in two 0
