The 1st year examination of the 3-year B.Sc. degree course with ENGLISH, PHYSICS, CHEMISTRY (Organic and Inorganic)

Any other examination with the required subjects, which in scope and standard (including its courses and syllabus) is considered by the institute, equivalent to Pre-medical/Intermediate Science examination of an Indian University.
| Minimum
Aggregate : | He/She should have obtained a minimum of SIXTY PERCENT (60%) marks in aggregate in the 4 compulsory subjects of ENGLISH, PHYSICS, CHEMISTRY (Organic and Inorganic) and BIOLOGY (Botany and Zoology).

| For Scheduled Caste/Tribe Candidates: | A candidate who has obtained a minimum of fifty percent (50%) of marks in aggregate in the subjects of English, Physics, Chemistry (Organic and Inorganic) and Biology (Botany and Zoology) in his/her 12th class examination under 10+2 Scheme/Intermediate Science/ Pre-Medical / Pre-Professional/B.Sc 1st year or an equivalent examination will be eligible to appear in the Competitive Entrance Examination.
A candidate belonging to Scheduled Caste/Tribe community who has passed the B.Sc or B.V.Sc. or B.Sc (Nursing) final examination by securing not less than fifty percent (50%) of the total marks in aggregate in any of these examination, shall be eligible for appearing in the Competitive Entrance Examination, provided in the 12th class under 10+2 scheme/Intermediate Science or Pre-Medical or Pre-Professional or B.Sc. 1st year or an equivalent examination, he/she has studied the subjects of English, Physics, Chemistry (Organic and Inorganic) and Biology (Botany and Zoology). | | For Foreign Candidates: | | Foreign candidates nominated by the Government of India are required to have obtained a minimum of FIFTY PERCENT (50%) marks in aggregate in the subjects of ENGLISH, PHYSICS, CHEMISTRY (Organic and Inorganic) and BIOLOGY (Botany and Zoology) in their Pre-Medical/Intermediate Science or an equivalent examination to be eligible for admission to the M.B.B.S.
