For admission to the MBBS and B.Pharm courses of Benaras Hindu University, candidates need to pass at least the Intermediate, 10+2 or equivalent examination with a minimum of 50% marks (40% in case of SC/ST candidates) in English, Physics, Chemistry and Biology (Zoology + Botany) taken together. Those who are appearing in qualifying examination may also apply for BHU PMT/PAT 2008.



Candidates should also complete 17 years but not crossed 25 years as on year of Examination.
