M.B.B.S. Programme: (Recognised by the Medical Council of India)

The norms for admission have been framed in accordance with the laws declared by the Hon'ble Supreme Court of India reported in 2002(8) SCC 481. The University would, at its discretion, also admits NRI Foreign national candidates.
Duration

Seats		 5½ years including internship

Special reservations:
 a) Seven seats are reserved for the candidates who have distinguished themselves in sports.

b) Eight seats are reserved for the candidates who are the children / nominees of those who have notably contributed to the development of Muthamizh (Iyal, Isai and Nadagam).
