Manipal University is a deemed university in Manipal, Karnataka which was formerly called as Manipal Academy of Higher Education or MAHE with the total strength of  students is around 96,000 approximately from 51 different countries in the main campus.



Manipal University in the month of May very year conducts an Under Graduate Entrance Tests (UGET) in order to intake admissions into various undergraduate courses including Engineering, MBBS, BDS, BPharma, Biotechnology, Nursing, Medicine, BOT, BPT, B.Sc. MIT.The university has its sister campuses/branches in Nepal, Malaysia, and Sikkim providing technical education to wide range of students.



Manipal University has acquired academic collaboration internationally so as to provide higher standards of the education in engineering, medicine, biomedical, communication with universities of US, Australia, Germany, Nepal and other academic organizations.
