Reservations in admission to various degree courses offered by Government Sponsored Colleges for Puducherry UT candidates belonging to different categories are given below:

+ For MBBS 1% and for all the other courses 3% of seats are reserved.
(*) Horizontal Reservation: Seats reserved / allocated under these categories will become operational, only if, the minimum member of seats earmarked for each of these categories are not filled up, under normal process of selection in any category.

- For NRI/NRI Sponsored/Foreign Students in Mahatma Gandhi Post Graduate Institute of Dental Sciences, Puducherry
Out of the sanctioned intake of 40 seats, 5 seats have been allotted to NRI/ NRI Sponsored/Foreign Students. In the event of any vacancies arising out of seats allotted for NRI/NRI Sponsored/Foreign students, they will be surrendered to the State Quota which will be filled by CENTAC, Govt. of Puducherry.

Ranking of Candidates
Selection of Candidates for admission to all the Degree courses will be based on the Merit lists prepared by CENTAC, based on the marks arrived at by adopting the 'method of normalization'.
- Admission to the first year of B.D.S., course offered by the Government -- sponsored Colleges is centralized and done by the Centralized Admission Committee (CENTAC), Government of Puducherry.
- Candidates will be called for counselling as per their order of merit is each course.
CENTAC will not be responsible for postal or any other delay.
