Points to Ponder

  • All India Entrance Examination (AIEE) quota - 15% of the Intake capacity at MBBS & BDS Courses.

  • Service Bond: Candidates selected against the seats of Government colleges for admission to MBBS / BDS courses will be required to sign a bond to serve the Government of Maharashtra or Local self-government or Defence services for a period of two years, failing which he/she will be required to pay Rs.5,00,000/- (Rupees Five lacs only) for the default. Additionally, he/she will be required to sign an undertaking to the effect that he/ she will not leave India within a period of five years from the date of obtaining the degree.

  • Rule For MBBS/BDS: A candidate belonging to Open Category must not have obtained less than 50% marks in Physics, Chemistry and Biology taken together at the HSC or equivalent Examination. Further a candidate belonging to Backward class must have obtained 40% marks in Physics, Chemistry and Biology taken together at the HSC or equivalent Examination.

  • Age: The candidate must be of 17 years of age on the year of examination to appear for MHT-CET (Maharashtra Common Entrance Test).
