The test consists of multiple choice questions in Physics, Chemistry, Biology and English.

Total Marks for the PMET is 800 with 200 questions (50 each for PCBZ). Each question will carry 4 marks.

 For each wrong answer 1 Marks is deducted.

The exam is on the pattern of CBSE syllabus with multiple choice questions.
