| Introduction

Armed Forces Medical College is a well-known medical institute of the country which is reckoned as a centre of excellence as far as education and research are concerned. The college provides training to undergraduate and postgraduate medical and nursing with assured prospects in the defense services.
AFMC is affiliated to Maharashtra University of Health Science, Nashik and is recognized by Medical Council of India. Admission to MBBS course is based on written examination which is held on 1st Sunday of May. The candidates who successfully clear the examination are called for interview in June for the courses which start in July. Additionally, admission to undergraduate and postgraduate programmes is subject to medical fitness.
Course Duration- The duration of MBBS course is for four and a half year as well as internship for one year.
Number of seats- 130 (105 boys and 25 girls)
