All the candidates who have applied for admission and are found eligible will be required to take the Entrance Examination at their own cost.  The examination will be conducted at the following centers viz.

1. PONDICHERRY
2. CHENNAIj
3. HYDERABAD
4. DELHI
5. KOLKATA
6. THIRUVANANTHAPURAM

The Examination will be conducted at a particular centre only if there are sufficient number of candidates for that centre, otherwise the candidates will be allotted to the other centre in order of preference. The Examination Centre, once opted by the applicant will not be changed by correspondence, after the application.
 
 METHOD OF EXAMINATION

The examination shall be conducted in ENGLISH medium only.

1. The Entrance Examination will be of multiple choice type questions totaling 200 in the subjects of English, Physics, Chemistry, Botany and Zoology. Each answer with correct response shall be awarded one mark.  Zero Mark will be given for the question not answered.  More than one answer indicated against a question, will be deemed as incorrect response and no mark will be given.  There is no NEGATIVE MARKING.
2. There will be alternatives for each of the questions of multiple choice totaling 200 in the subjects of English, Physics, Chemistry, Botany and Zoology. The correct answer in the answer sheet should be blackened with Black Ball Point Pen.
3. The question for JIPMER MBBS Entrance Examination will be based on the syllabus for XII standard as prescribed by the state board H. Sc. And CBSE.
